delete your courtship account

You can delete your Courtship account and personal data at any time. There are
two ways to do it.

Delete it yourself in the app (fastest)

1. Open Courtship and sign in.

2. Go to Profile.

3. Scroll down and expand the Danger zone section

4. Tap Delete my account.

5. Confirm.

This permanently deletes your account and cannot be undone.

Don't have the app anymore?

If you can't sign in or have removed the app, email
hello@courtship.social from the email address on your account, with the
subject "Delete my account". We'll verify it's you and delete your account
within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in.

• Your profile: name, home area, the sports you play and your skill levels,
  availability, and profile photo.

What may be kept

• Anonymised or aggregate records required for security, fraud prevention, or
  legal obligations, retained for up to 90 days, then deleted.

• Messages you sent in a match chat may remain visible to other participants of
  that match; contact us at the address above if you need these removed too.
